Biography

Temilolu, popularly called ‘Temi’ by those who knew her, was a vibrant young woman who was loved by everyone. She was the fourth child born to Rev. David Adegboye and Late Mrs Oluyinka Adegboye in Jos, Nigeria on the 20th of September 1984.

 

There was always a light in her eyes and never a dull moment when she was around.

She completed her nursery, primary and secondary school education in Jos. Due to her love for acting she went on to study Cinematography at the National Film Institute (NFI), Jos.  She moved to Abuja, Nigeria where she worked until her breast cancer diagnosis in 2015.

Temi was very creative and put her designing skills to use by learning how to sew. She loved cooking, travelling, making friends and helping others.

 

Even whilst undergoing treatment, her concern and care for others still remained. She was until her death on the 16th of September 2017, an avid campaigner for breast cancer awareness, being very vocal and passionate about early detection on social media. She also took part in breast cancer awareness events.

Temi started writing her story in the book titled, ‘A Love Worth Having’ which was completed by her sister, Susannah.
